About me
In private practice I work with adults, young people and families. I have specialised training in working with bereavement. I have a successful private practice which I established in 2015. I have extensive experience of working with young people; from counselling children within school settings, counselling children in the care system, and from working as a senior youth worker for a number of years. Alongside my private practice I work for a local charity counselling young people (Eastleigh Youth Counselling Service). I also provide counselling for Abby’s Heroes, offering counselling to family members of young people with a cancer diagnosis attached to the Piam Brown ward at Southampton General Hospital. As a qualified supervisor, I offer supervision to counsellors and trainee counsellors to support and enhance their client work and professional development. I thrive on helping others develop and grow. I also work part time as a Lecturer teaching adults level 4, 5 and 6 (BSc Hons) in counselling, which I thoroughly enjoy.
